Veerappan's wife demands a ban on 'Vanayudham'

"Vanayudham" is an upcoming Tamil Movie directed by AMR Ramesh and produced by Akshaya Creations in association with Sai Sri Cinemas Pvt Ltd & S Lad Entertainment Pvt Ltd. The Story deals with the sandalwood smuggler Veerappan which is enacted by actor Kishore. Action King Arjun will play Vijayakumar and Ravi Kalai will play Senthamarai Kannan. Suresh Oberoi and Divya Spandana to play the roles of Rajkumar and journalist respectively. Now the news is that Veerappan's wife Muthulakshmi, has sought a ban on a film on her husband, alleging that it portrays her and Veerappan in bad light. Muthulakshmi, while addressing a press conference, said the director or producer of the film Vanayutham never discussed the story with her. She said that the film would influence the pending case against her. A case has been filed in a Chennai Court. In a recent interview, director Ramesh has said that his film will show "exactly how Veerappan met his end." The producer has agreed to hold the screening of the film till the case is disposed.
