Shaurya Chauhan is a model turned Bollywood actress. Shaurya was born on 7th August in Hyderabad, India. She is a well known face in the Television industry as she has hosted quite a few shows on TV. But before doing televisions shows she was a model. Shaurya Chauhan was discovered by ace photographer Atul Kasbekar, who shoots the Kingfisher Swimsuit Calendar. Shaurya even shot for the 2006 edition of this Kingfisher calendar. She has done many ad films and was into ramp modeling before making it to the big screen.
Her most famous TV appearance was in the show ‘Dadagiri’ which she hosted and was a part of it. ‘Dadagiri’ is a reality based show which use to air on the channel UTV BINDASS and it was through this show that she gained popularity.
But Shaurya Chauhan made her Bollywood debut long back in the movie ‘Kyon Ki’ which was released in the year 2005 and had Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor in the lead, Shaurya played a small role in that movie. But she played the lead role in her next movie which was ‘Mumbai Salsa’ and it released in the year 2007 but didn’t quite make an impression. After that she didn’t do any film and was busy with her television commitments until this year. She was recently seen in the movie ‘Sadda Adda’ which released this year.
