Trisha to dub herself in Vishal's 'Samaran'

Trisha is a Tamilian from Palghat and she studied in Church Park Convent, Chennai. She has good understanding of languages English and Tamil and speaks them well too. More over her voice is also lovable. But when comes to films Trisha has always depended on dubbing artistes to give voice for her in films. Right from her first film ‘Lesa Lesa’ in 2002 until ‘Vinnaithandi Varuvaya’ in 2010, Trisha has never spoken for herself in Tamil films in the last eight years. But she recently dubbed her own voice for "Mankatha" starring Ajith. Happy with the response to dubbing on her own for 'Mankatha', Trisha has decided to continue with it for her forthcoming Kollywood film 'Samaran', which has Vishal playing the lead role. The actress is currently shooting for the movie in Bangkok. "I decided to dub for Mankatha since I had very few dialogues in it and director Venkat Prabhu insisted that I speak for myself. Since it worked out well, I have now decided to dub for Samaran as well," says Trisha. Saying that dubbing for her own character gives her inner satisfaction, Trisha adds, "It really worked in Mankatha. And I believe that I can pull it off in Samaran too." Meanwhile, the actress is happy with the success of her last week Tollywood release, 'Bodyguard'. "Right from day one of the shoot we knew that the film would become a hit. I believed that I could give my best to the role, which was already played by other actresses in three languages earlier. And I am now thrilled with the response", she signs off.
