Nanban certified by Censor board with U certificate. Trade sources say that Nanban has been certified during the fag end of 2011. This means, the film will qualify for 2011 awards. The film has been well-received by the Censor Board officials and they have certified it with a clean U.Nanban is from director Shankar who has tried out a remake for the first time in his successful career. It is the remake of the Hindi movie 3 Idiots. Vijay, Jiiva, Srikanth, Ileana, Sathyaraj, SJ Suryah and others play vital roles in Naban. Harris Jayaraj has scored the music for this film.
